Where ArbStar is strong — and where we fit.
ArbStar is the leader in tree-care contractor software in North America. If you're running crews, quoting jobs, scheduling chippers, and invoicing customers, it does that job well — the CRM, the dispatch, the route optimisation are all properly built out.
But ArbStar isn't built for consulting arborists. It doesn't produce a structured survey deliverable, doesn't model retention categories, doesn't generate a planning-application-ready PDF, and doesn't have a constraints-plan figure. Different tool for a different customer.
Consulting arborists need a survey schedule, a constraints figure, and a methodology narrative — none of which is what ArbStar is for. tree·canopy starts from that deliverable backwards.
