Where Jobber is strong — and where we fit.
Jobber is a very good product and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Quotes, invoices, card payments, the scheduling calendar, the client hub, online booking, automated reminders, QuickBooks sync, a full integrations marketplace — it all works, and the track record shows it: 4.8 stars from 13,861 reviews on the US App Store, 4.5 from 4,883 on Google Play. Jobber ships voice too — over 100 tasks hands-free from the mobile app, including creating a quote, getting directions and rescheduling a visit. Plans run $49 a month for Core, $139 for Connect and $199 for Grow, each cheaper paid annually, with a 14-day trial that doesn't ask for a card.
What Jobber isn't is a tree tool. It's built for 50-plus home-service trades at once, so there is no per-tree record — a tree's history lives in the notes on whichever job it was attached to. No species identification. No tree inventory. No arborist report. Its voice completes commands: it will create a quote or get you directions, but it won't turn what you said about the tree into a record with a species, a size, a condition and a priced line on it. And the app is English and Spanish only, so a French-speaking crew in Québec or a report for a francophone customer is out of scope.
Be straight about the split: Jobber runs the business around the job, we do the job. If your whole problem is invoicing and getting paid, use Jobber — we don't invoice, take payments or do online booking, and we're not going to fake it. Where we're the better tool is the visit itself: talk at the tree and it fills a structured tree record with a priced line on it, a photo gets a species and pest suggestion you confirm, every tree keeps its own history across years, the report drafts itself with the BS 5837 pack bundled for UK firms, and the whole thing runs in seven languages — including the documents the customer reads. On price, be exact: at one or two users Jobber Core is cheaper; at five or more, we are. Their +$29 per extra user and the $199 Connect plan for five scale with your headcount, and ours doesn't — crew leads and crew members never use a seat here. Plenty of firms run both.
