The two calls you never get round to making are the two the customer wants. Both go out in your name, written from the work you already logged — nothing for you to type.

The customer knows the work is scheduled and what it covers, so nobody rings the office on Thursday to ask.
“Here's what we did.”
A completion report goes out with the work and the photos on it. Good for the customer, good for the next quote.
No bars down the back lane.
Everything you say, shoot and pin is written to the phone first. It queues there until there is signal, then it goes up on its own.
That line is the point. The app tells you what is still on the phone and what has actually reached the server. It does not tell you the job is saved and then quietly drop it — and if an upload fails, it goes back in the queue rather than out of existence.
